How do I register?
The easiest way to register is to fill out an enrolment form on our web page and submit the application, optionally print out the enrolment form and fax or mail it to us. After we have received it; we will process it and send you an acceptance letter by fax and mail.
Are there any registration fees?
Course fee includes £100 of registration fee. There are no additional charges.
How much do I have to pay when I register?
You should send a 50% deposit of your tuition fee and the first month's accommodation fee (if required) by bank transfer, international money order, or by credit card. If paying by credit card please fax your credit card information to the college fax number 02074375612 to get a copy of the credit card authorization form.
Can I get my deposit refunded, If I don't get a visa?
Yes, we will refund the full amount of your deposit minus £100 registration fee, if you are not given your visa. However you must send a copy of the letter from the British Embassy stating you were denied entry into the United Kingdom. There might be additional charge if the student asks to refund the payment via bank transfer or issue a bank draft in a foreign currency.
Can I study on a Tourist Visa?
Everybody staying in the UK as a tourist is eligible to study for up to six months. If a person wishes to study longer, he or she will need a Student Visa or a Study Permit. Students on Student Visas must study for a minimum of 15 hours a week.

When can I start classes at Great Chapel College London?
Classes are three hours in length and are held Monday to Friday. Students attending classes daily can attend any session starting at 9am, 12 noon or 3pm. Every three months students sit an Internal Level Assessment Exams and move to higher level classes and greater challenges.
Can I take more than one class a day?
Students can take up to 3 classes a day as classes are taught be different teachers. This option will involve additional payment.
Can I only study for 2 or 3 weeks instead of the whole month?
Yes you can. The cost will be adjusted accordingly to the number of hours a student is enrolled on.
Can I choose my own classes?
Yes, you can, provided the classes are of your level. Students are placed in classes with others who are at the same level of the language skills. Great Chapel College London team of counsellors is available to give advice and find solutions to all problems. Students are encouraged to move forward as soon as they are able to.
Can I change my class, if I don't like it?
Yes, the Great Chapel College London Program is based on the promise that every student is an individual and will benefit most from a language instruction program customized to their unique needs. At Great Chapel College London each student is able to change the program as their skills improve and their short term goals are attained. Students are able to concentrate on acquiring information they don't have, and move to higher levels of language proficiency.
Where and when do I take my placement test?
Before starting classes at Great Chapel College London, students are given an English language skill test. Grammar, vocabulary, reading and comprehension skills are evaluated. Then right classes are selected and students can begin their course. Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to you chosen session. Exams will be used to document the milestones in a student's progress.
Do I have to buy books?
Yes, you may have to buy books. However, teachers often provide materials used in class.
What would my expense be?
Spending money varies from person to person. Most students can spend between £100.00 and £150.00 per week.
Can I change my accommodation?
Yes, you can, usually after the first four weeks.
How much is accommodation?
Accommodation costs £70 per week.
How far is my accommodation from the College?
We try to place students within an hour’s journey to school by bus and/or underground.
Can I request in advance to have my accommodation in a certain area of London?
No, if you wish to live in a specific area you will be required to find a room on your own.
Do you have rooms, a school dormitory or a school residence?
There are several Students residences within the city that provide rooms for students from Great Chapel College London.
Will I receive a Certificate? When?
Yes, you will receive a certificate stating which level you have completed. You can request your certificate a week before your course finishes by asking at the Reception Desk. You can also receive Exam Certificate bearing results of your Level Assessment exams.
How many levels of English do you have at Great Chapel College London?
Students are assigned to one of 6 levels of English: Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate and Advanced and IELTS exam preparation course.
