Travel discount from Transport for London.
Great Chapel College is recognised by Transport for London 18+ Student Oyster Scheme and as such full-time students of GCC are eligible to join the scheme. 18+ Student Oyster Scheme is provided by TfL and offers 30% discount on 7 Day or longer Travelcard and Bus Pass season tickets.
To be eligible to join the scheme, students have to enrol on a minimum 14 weeks course and attend minimum 80% of their course.
Visa Information
How to get a VISA?
Please make sure that your passport is valid and that you have a visa (if you need one) prior to your travel date. It is best to have a passport that is valid for the entire duration of your stay in London in order to avoid having to renew your passport at the embassy. If you are not sure whether you need a visa please check with your local British embassy or view http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk
Immigration officers will check that you are a serious student they will look carefully at all your documentation. They will also want to ensure that you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay here without a need to work.
You will need to present your documentation from the school and information about your accommodation in London on the arrival. Nationals from certain countries will require entry clearance prior to travelling to the UK
Police Registration
Students from the European Community need not register with the police. All other students staying in the UK for over six months must register with Borough Police Station at:

Embassy Registration
It is a good idea to register with your embassy in case you lose your passport or have an accident. We have all the embassy addresses at hand so please ask anyone in the office for help.
